In the annual TMT Predictions report, Deloitte predicts global trends in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) and how these will affect consumers and businesses in the year ahead.

On 7 March, Duncan Stewart, industry specialist and one of the authors of the report, will visit Sweden to present the trends discussed in this year's edition.

A taste of our predictions for 2024:
  • The market for specialized chips optimized for generative AI will exceed US$50 billion.
  • Telcos worldwide will be able to reduce their carbon footprint by 2%, or 12 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2024.
  • Streamers will charge more for premium content, fight churn with longer subscriptions, and satisfy bargain hunters with more pricing tiers.
  • Interest from fans, broadcasters, and commercial partners will drive rapid growth in the revenues of women’s elite sport.
  • Smartphones will be used to authenticate processes across an ever-widening range of actions.

See all our predictions here.

Doors will open at 17:30. The presentation will begin at 18:00. The evening will end with mingling and a light buffet.

The presentation will be held in English.

Registration closes on 4 March.

We hope to see you there!
