The presentation of the tax position in the financial statements has become increasingly important in recent years, primarily given more focus on tax from auditors and society.  In addition to this, with the upcoming Pillar II regulations, it is critical to enhance your knowledge on tax accounting!

During this two day course you will:

  • Build and increase your understanding of the tax accounting concepts through a structural 10-step plan
  • Understand permanent versus temporary differences
  • Understand current and deferred tax calculations
  • Understand deferred tax asset recognition assessments
  • Understand how to recognize and measure uncertain tax positions
  • Get insight in the relationship of balance sheet / P&L tax accounts
  • Understand how to determine the (consolidated) effective tax rate reconciliation
  • Understand the footnote requirements
  • Gather knowledge on how to bring tax accounting in practice
  • Get insight in recent tax accounting developments
