Innovation as a Driver for Sustainability

Deloitte is delighted to host Innovation as a Driver for Sustainability as part of National Public Service Innovation Week.

About: The objective of this event is for participants to get creative in their thinking on the challenges faced in sustainability, build a network of public service colleagues in the sustainability space, build engagement and buy-in on the culture of innovation to solve challenges and have fun while doing it. The morning will involve keynote presentations, panel discussions and Q&A sessions, which will be designed to share insights and innovative thinking in sustainability.

• Aoife Connaughton, Director for Climate and Sustainability, Deloitte Ireland
• Anna Kowalewska, Sustainability Partner, Deloitte Poland. Her expertise includes Environment, Social and Governance agenda for public sector clients in Europe
• Dr Diarmuid Torney, associate professor in the School of Law and Government at DCU and co-director of the DCU Centre for Climate and Society
• Claire Acton, Director, Deloitte Ireland and Leader of Digital Strategy and Experience Design in the Public Sector for Deloitte Digital
• Public Sector Panel on Climate and Sustainability

Takeaways: Participants can apply learnings to their own work environments and advance their innovative thinking in sustainability.  We will invite participants to be part of our Deloitte Sustainability Maturity Assessment for Public Sector, where we can provide creative tools and innovative methodologies to address challenges faced in climate action planning.
