Join our roundtable which will focus on the latest developments in the US tax & tariffs environment and their implications on Swiss multinationals. We will have the pleasure to welcome Jonathan Traub, Managing Principal of the US Tax Policy Group from the Deloitte Washington National Tax office. This event will take place on Thursday 3 July from 15:00 – 17:30 in our Zurich office, including a networking apero.

The event will cover three main topics:

  • "One Big, Beautiful Bill Act": A focus on both the domestic corporate and international tax developments.
  • Tariffs: Analysis of current tariff implementations and impacts.
  • Pillar Two: Interaction with OECD parallel systems and the broader international tax framework.

The discussion will explore questions that multinational companies are keenly interested in, such as:

  • US and Federal Rules Interaction: Understanding alignment with OECD considerations.
  • Competitiveness: Strategies for Swiss companies to remain competitive amidst evolving tax regulations.
  • Expense Management: How companies will navigate extended expenses.

The discussions will be structured to address:

  • Swiss Multinational Impact: Insights into how the US tax landscape could affect US subsidiaries of Swiss multinationals.
  • Swiss Multinationals Outlook: Comprehensive coverage on how Swiss multinationals interact with US tax rules and the international tax developments.

Heads of Tax departments, both US and Swiss, will find valuable insights into recent tax updates, trends we are seeing in the market, and strategies to navigate this tricky situation effectively.
