The recent extreme weather events have shown the urgency of tackling the climate crisis and more generally of getting ESG at the centre of companies’ strategy. In Switzerland, the regulatory agenda on this topic is ambitious. In that context, Boards and Management must have reliable assurance on the effectiveness of ESG risk management, including ESG reporting. That assurance should come from internal audit.

The Deloitte experts will focus their presentation on the key Swiss and European regulatory initiatives, the risk of Greenwashing, and key actions for internal auditors. The guest speakers will share their views and insights from their practical experience with ESG.

Zurich: Sasha Cisar, an experienced Sustainability and ESG expert and “Head of SDG Evangelists and Research” at radicant Bank AG.
Geneva: Angela de Wolff, Founding Partner of Conser and ESG expert. She benefits from over 20 years of experience in the ESG domain and is Board member of financial sector institutions.
