08:00 - 11:00 CEST

In this webinar, we will examine the following topics:

Swiss VAT audits – During this first part, we will present recent developments in VAT audits and share the insights gained out of these inspections in several industry areas. This presentation will help you to understand the key areas of a VAT inspection and will help you to be prepared, if an external audit will be announced for your organisation.

VAT provisions – For financial reporting purposes tax professionals are asked to provide input to the required provisions. Together with our Deloitte IFRS specialist, Oliver Köster, we will look at the rules provided by IFRS and local GAAP, the applicability for VAT as self-declaring tax as well as practical tips on how to build an audit file.

Indirect Tax Cash Optimisation – More than ever, cash management is key for businesses and in-house tax specialists can contribute by identifying tax savings across jurisdictions. As indirect tax is an area where savings can be made, we will share savings opportunities and ideas from a Swiss and international perspective.
